Welcome to my little part of the internet. My name is Penny Baker, and I live in Derbyshire, UK, with my husband, my son, my dog and cat and a worryingly variable number of fish.

I started knitting in my twenties and quickly became pretty obsessed. But it was only a in 2019 that I decided to get brave and move from “I think it would be really fun to design knitting patterns” to “Yep, I’m going to design knitting patterns!”.
I love to design patterns that combine simplicity with beauty. I know I’m not the only time-poor knitter out there. I know I’m not the only knitter who needs to share out the brain cells across different parts of life. I try to design the patterns I want and need.
