Dora Cowl

A woman wearing a grey cowl against a green wall.

When I was a little girl, my grandfather lived in a small Australian town called Cooranbong. His house was near Dora Creek which had a white painted pedestrian suspension bridge over it. I remember how excited I got whenever we went for a walk that included going over this bridge – and also rather scared as I was not totally convinced that I wouldn’t find myself in the water.

This cowl reflects the memory of those walks, with the rippling water beneath us, and the comfort of knowing you’re safe with a loved one by your side. The pattern is designed to be gentle, soothing, and even meditative – much like walking alongside water!

This pattern has been test knit and professionally tech edited.
